Match Spotlight Series #31: Mike Quackenbush, Jigsaw, & Manami Toyota vs. Amazing Red & Los Maximos from Chikara King of Trios 2011

Chikara has surprisingly released one of the better matches from the 2011 King of Trios tournament. This match featured (at the time, TNA wrestler) Amazing Red and Los Maximos taking on Joshi and the Luchadors: Manami Toyota, Jigsaw, and Mike Quackenbush.

Besides being the most lucrative DVD sold for the promotion on SmartMarkVideo.com, this event was a very emotional event for Chikara and their fans. Larry Sweeney, the beloved independent wrestling manager had recently committed suicide. You will notice, Jigsaw, pay tribute to him right before the match starts.

Match Review:

Jig and Quack have matching green gear for this show...Jig screams, "This is for you Sweeney" right before the match starts...Quack and Red had incredible chemistry; they need to have a singles match...Red is the cousin of the Maximos…Toyota was brought back after a great weekend last Fall…Quack & Jig did a Larry Sweeney tribute to finish off one of the Maximos which got another “Sweet ‘n’ Sour” chant from the crowd...this match was crazy-fast and super fun to watch...I couldn't even try to recap the action...check this match out!
